RUNN Records - in association with Barry O'Hare's 'World-A-Muzik Productions' (formerly known as Xrated Records) - proudly presents a brand new album by the sweet voiced singer Indu, called "Fun Time". Thus both companies continue their policy of mainly investing money in albums of talented young and/or relatively unknown artists in order to bring them to a wider audience. Tanya Stephens and Mikey Spice are two significant examples of artists who achieved a giant breakthrough after Runn Records had released their debut album.
Indu (real name Vilmore Green) was born in St. Elisabeth Jamaica. As a youth he moved from his birthplace St. Elisabeth to Montego Bay, where people started calling him Indu. There he started his musical career as a deejay with Mo' Bay's no 1. sound system "Electro Force". However, there came a moment he felt he had to develop his artist skills further, so he decided to perform as a singer. In 1991 he performed at the Sunsplash festival and in November 1992 he did his first performances outside Jamaica as he toured Peru together with Michael Rose, Papa San and Ed Robinson.
Then Indu signed to "MacD Records" for which he recorded the "Ready For Dem" album and the music video "Ichiban". In 1996 he did some efforts on combining hip-hop with reggae music (for example with rapper Slick Rick). In 1998 Indu toured in Europe alongside Determine and Prezident Brown and was welcomed enthusiastically by the public. "Fun Time" showcases Indu as a versatile artist, who deliveres a truly versatile album!
